Ubisoft just released the announcement trailer for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed: Jade. Set in Ancient China, the developer promises authentic gameplay in an open-world like setting, impressive graphics and parkour, of course.
The year is 215 BCE, China and that’s about all that is revealed for now. Ubisoft claims that the footage shown in the trailer is direct capture. Also, players can use touch-controls (which were suspiciously left out on the screen). However, although it looks impressive, this is not a gameplay trailer. Here it is, without the annoying youtube ads.
Regarding the monetization, we can only speculate. There is a running joke on reddit that players can finally dress up Ezio in a bikini and jump off the great wall of China.
We will update you about any news regarding AC: Jade, for now just look at the pretty footage.
