As you dive into Vendir: Plague of Lies, you’ll immediately notice its deep roots in the world of classic RPGs. The party-based combat is executed through a turn-based system, which creates intense, thought-provoking battles. You’ll have the opportunity to select from a group of captivating characters to join your party, and each one adds a unique layer to both the game’s story and your combat abilities.
As you interact with non-playable characters, your party members will interject with their own commentary, creating a web of dialogue options that add depth to the game’s narrative. Backstory
The great kingdom of Vendir has fallen under the oppressive rule of King Elrik. His judgments are harsh, and his punishments are brutal. But hope arises when a long-lost prophecy foretells the end of his reign. Two siblings must brave the treacherous journey from one end of the muddy kingdom to the other, with every step inciting Elrik’s wrath. In a world plagued by lies, they must challenge the truth and fight for their freedom.

Vendir: Plague of Lies is out now on Android and iOS as free to play title, with optional in-app purchases. PC (Steam) and console releases are planned for later this year, but you can already wishlist the game on Steam if you like it.
