B.Duck is (apparently) a popular franchise in Asia and parts of Europe, featuring a lovely duck character of ‘SEMK Production Limited’ of Hong-Kong. Well, the IP owner now decided that B.Duck should finally have his own game. To make that happen, they teamed up with FUNPLE WORKS inc. B. Duck: CANDY SWEETS was born. Today is the official launch.

The press release was pretty scarce about the game itself. Most of the page is filled with trademark companies, franchise owners, IP holders, collaborations, CEO’s and offline stores that sell merchandise related to B.Duck. This is a quote from the very same PR:
“There are over 2,100 offline stores which are distributing “B.Duck” IP products and it has about 4 Million fans & followers on the SNS including Weibo, Instagram and Facebook globally.”
The game itself is pretty standard Match-3 Puzzle featuring candies and a cute yellow duck. That would be mr. B. himself. There are 1000 levels and couple of missions you can complete to help B.Duck eat all sweets.
The game is free to download from the Play Store and contains in-app purchases, but also offers you a way to complete the game for free (patience you must have, my young padawan). Once installed, B. Duck: CANDY SWEETS will consume around 60mb of storage and can be played offline.
