Official Transport Tycoon port annonced

Chris Sawyer and his company 31X Ltd, in collaboration with Origin8 Technologies Ltd,  announced their work on releasing a port of the original Transport Tycoon game from 1994 for Android and iOS devices.  The port should hit the stores by the end of this year, further details to follow.

Transport Tycoon was released in 1994 for PC, developed by Chris Sawyer and published by Microprose, it was highly acclaimed at that time. It gave us the opportunity to manage our own transport company, compete with rivals and try to build an empire out of debts and loans.

An open source version of the game is already available on Google Play, and now we are getting the official one too, hopefully without in app purchases and ads. All we need to do now is wait and hope that Rollercoaster Tycoon is next.
