T3 Arena adds ranked mode

XD Inc.’s Hero Shooter T3 Arena that we checked out here, had bunch of updates and the latest one adds new skins, balance changes, events, and the highly anticipated ranked mode. T3 Arena is a fun 3rd person online shooter available on Android and iOS for free, and it seems the game is gaining popularity on daily basis.

What’s new in T3 Arena

The most notable feature is the ranked mode, available in Control, Payload Escort, and Clash. To qualify for ranked however, you will have to collect 1500 trophies (not that hard). Then and only then you can face other players and play competitively. If you prefer to play and queue solo, you will be matched against other players that play the same way, while pre-made three-man teams will only go against other pre-made teams.

When it comes to tier matchmaking, only a player’s Ranked Tier will be the deciding factor. Players won’t need to worry about their trophy count or glory labels affecting their matchmaking. Another key factor in Ranked Mode will be how players go about picking their heroes. In order to help make Ranked matches more strategic and competitive, players will always pick their heroes after knowing which map they will be playing in.

And as the final note, you can “Wishlist” a specific hero. This should help you upgrade that hero faster, tweaking the rewards in that direction. For example, if you chose a specific Grand, Epic or Mythic hero, Rumble boxes (Loot boxes) will have a slightly higher chance to drop the required items, but the developers didn’t specify exactly what modifier was applied here (so it’s still based on luck).
