After some delays, SEGA finally launched Football Manager 2023 on Android and iOS. As always, the new season brings roster updates, player changes, and various improvements in the game engine. Fully licensed UEFA Club Competitions, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Europa Conference League and the UEFA Super Cup are all available this year.
What’s new this year?
Fully licensed competitions aside, SEGA claims that this is “the slickest, most authentic version yet.” If that is true or not, I will have to play the game myself, but judging by the reviews on the Play Store, the menu jerkiness was fixed, providing overall a smooth experience. There are some negative 1 star reviews, but over 90% of them are related to temporary outages and bugs that will be fixed in the next patch.
Football Manager 2023 costs $9.99 (regional pricing may apply) on the Android and Apple store respectively. This is the mobile version, and I believe the Apple arcade version is called “Touch”. The game is also available on pretty much everything else, including consoles and PC (steam and epic), but the price is way higher.
