Chronoverse wants Android beta testers
Chronoverse is recruiting Android testers for its closed beta. The pixel art action RPG mixes enemy hordes, bosses, spells and legendary loot, with support for both touch controls and controllers.
Its worlds range from forests full of undead to ancient Rome and a rainy cyberpunk city. A very ambitious itinerary for someone who keeps getting attacked.
According to the developer, progression includes a large skill tree, alongside an endless arena and private 1v1 duels with friends. That last feature comes with a clear warning which is, PvP is effectively at a pre-alpha stage, so expect bugs and unfinished behaviour.
Join the queue
The current beta is free, with no ads or in-app purchases, and all existing content is available to testers. The developer says no game account is required, although joining the Android test still involves Google’s testing process.
To get access:
- Join the Chronoverse Android beta Google Group.
- Open the testing page and select Become a tester.
- Install the game through its Google Play listing.
The store page may appear unavailable until you complete the first two steps. Use the same Google account throughout.
The developer is looking for feedback on combat, controls, performance and the overall feel.
