60 Seconds! unofficial PS Vita port

PupueStudios has released 60 Seconds! for PS Vita, with version 1.0 arriving on November 2. The first public build requires a purchased Steam copy and a PC patching step to prepare the game files.

Robot Gentleman’s survival game starts with a frantic scramble to gather supplies and rescue your family before a nuclear strike. After that, it’s shelter life, rationing and difficult decisions. A relaxing family holiday, then.

The port targets the original 60 Seconds!, with instructions pointing to its Steam installation folder. Support for 60 Seconds! Reatomized is not documented and likely won’t work.

On a homebrew enabled Vita, install 60seconds.vpk, then download and extract 60SecondsVitaSTEAM.zip on your PC. Place your 60 Seconds! game folder from steamapps/common inside the extracted patch folder and run ApplyPatch.bat.

Once it finishes, open the generated 60SecondsVITA_FILES.zip and copy its Media folder into ux0:app/SSEC06000/ using VitaShell. The VPK alone is not the complete installation.

First release

A slight 444 MHz overclock is recommended, and be prepared for lenghty loading times and some bugs. No frame rate figures are published, and we haven’t tested the build ourselves. Saves are stored in data/60Seconds, according to the release notes.

Credits go to PatnosD for helping with the port and discloses that it was made with AI assistance. Technical documentation is limited, so there isn’t enough published information to describe its underlying porting method.

For now, this is an early unofficial release for Vita owners willing to experiment, with bug reports welcomd through GitHub Issues.
