The King of Fighters AFK Begins Early Access Phase 2

Netmarble has launched Early Access Phase 2 for The King of Fighters AFK in Canada, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The game is based on SNK’s classic fighting franchise and brings its characters to life with pixel art graphics and strategic 5v5 team battles. Players can build teams using characters from across the series and progress quickly thanks to the game’s idle mechanics.

The update adds a huge range of content. Players can now collect up to 113 fighters, including 36 Legendary Heroes, alongside 38 Supporters and 17 Pets. There are 10 unique PvE dungeons and 9,000 stages to explore, as well as 15 different PvP modes and ranking challenges to compete in.

Events and Pre-Registration Bonuses

To mark the launch of Early Access Phase 2, a series of limited-time events and rewards have been introduced. Logging in during the OBT Special Login Reward event unlocks Legendary Fighter Ryo Sakazaki, while players who log in on Day 1 and Day 2 will receive Unique Fighters Li Xiangfei and Momoko. Additional login bonuses include Rubies and a Legendary Fighter Summon Ticket from the Server Launch Celebration Check-In event.

Pick-Up Summon events are also active, offering chances to obtain Mai Shiranui and Chizuru Kagura. These two fighters share a “Fury” synergy that can boost team performance when used together. Other ongoing in-game events, such as “Lucky Elpy Event” and “Elpy’s Dream Land,” offer more rewards and content during this early access phase.

Global pre-registration is still open via Google Play, the App Store, and the official website. Players who pre-register can receive up to 3,000 free draws to help unlock powerful characters. Everyone who pre-registers is guaranteed to get Vice, a key character who harnesses the power of Orochi.
