GameHub 6.0.6 Adds More Steam Features
GameHub 6.0.6 has arrived and one of its biggest additions isn’t related to performance or compatibility. Instead, the update focuses on bringing more of the Steam experience to Android. While many Android users have already been using GameHub to launch Windows games, the latest version expands support for several Steam features that PC gamers use every day.
Steam Overlay and Workshop Support
According to the official changelog shared on Reddit, GameHub 6.0.6 introduces Steam Overlay support, Steam Workshop integration and DLC management.
The update also adds support for importing external Steam games, making it easier to manage existing game libraries without downloading everything again.
Steam Friends and Achievements
Another major addition is expanded Steam social functionality. Players can now access their Steam friends list, receive achievement notifications, join parties, accept game invitations and use Steam chat directly through GameHub.
For Android users experimenting with PC gaming, these features help make the experience feel closer to playing on a traditional desktop system rather than using a simple compatibility layer.
GameHub originally attracted attention because it allowed Android devices to run Windows PC games using compatibility tools and translation layers. Over time, however, the software has been evolving into something larger. Recent updates have added Epic Games Store support, Proton integration and improved game management features. With version 6.0.6, GameHub is now focusing on the ecosystem surrounding PC games rather than only the games themselves.
The update also includes EA game support, improved gamepad mapping tools, fixes for frame interpolation on Mali GPUs, translator configuration improvements and a reduction in application size. While compatibility improvements remain important, the Steam additions are likely to be the headline feature for many users upgrading to version 6.0.6.
