Azur Lane’s Latest Update Brings New Shipgirls and Summer Skins

Azur Lane has launched a major content update starting May 20, 2025, running through June 11. Players can look forward to six new shipgirls, seven fresh skins, and special events with rewards for all participants. This update is available now for all mobile players.

Event Overview and Special Rewards

The centerpiece of the update is the “Midsummer Returns: Villa Reconstruction” event, where players can engage in themed minigames. These activities offer materials and points that can be exchanged for rewards in the event shop. A special login campaign offers daily items, and players under level 80 get double EXP in sorties.

A returning feature, the Wishing Well, lets players select up to two shipgirls released before March 27, 2025, with boosted construction chances.

New Shipgirls and How to Get Them

Five new Royal Navy shipgirls join the lineup, with Ultra Rare Lion and Trafalgar leading the group. Lion is available through limited construction, while Trafalgar can be earned with UR Vouchers from event stages and missions. The event also features:

  • Cleopatra (Super Rare) and Gallant (Elite) in construction
  • Trinidad (Elite) as a milestone reward
  • Glorious META (Super Rare), available via construction, stage drops, and shop exchange

New and Returning Skins

Seven new skins arrive with the update, including three L2D designs:

  • The Reclining Dandelion (Lion)
  • Sea Breeze, Moonlit Talks (Trafalgar)
  • Fun on the Baize (Taihou)

Another highlight is The Relaxing Dragon God for Shimanto, combining L2D and dynamic animation features. Players can also pick up eight returning skins, including fan favorites like Heat-Beating Summer Sacrament and An Afternoon on the Lido Deck.
