The Two Embers: Part One Arrives in Sky This July
Sky: Children of the Light is introducing something new this summer. Starting July 21, players can watch The Two Embers: Part One, a wordless animated film, directly inside the game. Presented in weekly chapters, the film tells the origin story behind Sky’s universe.
A Story Told Without Words
The film follows two characters—a child and a wounded manatee—whose paths, though separated by time, reflect one another. The Two Embers explores themes of loss, kindness, and healing, without using a single word. Its emotional tone is designed to be understood by people of all ages and backgrounds.
Instead of going to a theater or streaming on a platform, players will gather in the Sky Cinema, an in-game movie theater. This space allows thousands of players to watch together in real time, using technology first introduced during Sky’s AURORA concert event.
Each weekly chapter of the film will come with new in-game content. Players won’t just watch the story—they’ll explore it. Gameplay will reflect events in the film, making the experience more personal and interactive.
