Guardian Tales Unveils World 21: La Ventura, Adds New Hero and Myth System

Guardian Tales, the mobile action RPG available on Android and iOS, has just released its latest major update. World 21: La Ventura officially launches on April 29 2025, bringing new story content, features, and rewards.

About the update

Set in the deep-sea city of La Ventura, this chapter follows the Knight and their team as they search for clues to unlock the sealed Kanterbury Castle. The city blends ancient technology with striking visuals, creating a fresh setting for players to explore.

A new hero joins the roster: Callie, a star fighter from the La Ventura Arena. Known for her impressive combat style and stage presence, she plays a central role in the update’s main storyline.

This update also introduces a new progression system called Myth. Players can now push their heroes beyond level 100, all the way to level 150. Grade 6 heroes gain access to powerful Leader Skills, which deal wide-area damage and boost team stats temporarily. The first Myth-grade heroes—Eunha, AA72, and Callie—come with their own unique cutscenes and stories.

To unlock the Myth system, players will go through a new side story. The quest follows Kate, Linda, and the Knight on a mission to rescue Bob and Mina, leading them through challenging dungeons and revealing the origins of Myth.

To celebrate, Kakao Games is offering 3,000 free gems to all players who log in within the first month after launch. A limited-time event also grants up to 50 free summons, with 10 available per day over two weeks. Additionally, the difficulty of Worlds 12 through 18 has been lowered, and reward drops have been increased in Evolution Stone and Awakening Stone dungeons.
