Etheria: Restart Launches June 5, 2025 with New Features and Final Beta

XD Games announced during a global livestream that Etheria: Restart will launch worldwide on June 5, 2025, for iOS, Android, PC, and Steam. A final closed beta will begin on May 8, giving players early access to the latest updates and new characters.

About the Game

Etheria: Restart is set in a futuristic digital city where players control Hyperlinkers and their Animus in tactical battles. The livestream revealed Freya, a new SSR Animus using frost-based skills and a strong battlefield control style. She brings new options for both PvE and competitive play.

New systems will be available at launch, including Smart Shells for tactical AI support and Origin Gear for deeper character customization. Instance Dungeons have also been streamlined, offering new bosses and updated environments.

Multiplayer features are expanding with Phantom Theatre, a cooperative boss mode, and Real-Time Arena (RTA), a live PvP mode featuring ranked ladders and seasonal rewards. XD Games also announced the Etheria World Summit (EWS), a global tournament circuit for competitive players.

Jack Zhou, Game Director at XD Games, explained:

“This is not just another turn-based RPG. We’re building a platform where narrative, tactics, and player mastery collide — and we can’t wait for the world to dive in this June.”

XD Games confirmed a collaboration with RPG content creator HellHades, who will provide guides and meta strategies to help players during launch and beyond.

Pre-registration for Etheria: Restart is now open on all platforms. Players can join the final closed beta starting May 8.
