Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Brings New Modes & Features

Crashlands 2 was just updated to version 1.1. The game is available on Android, iOS and Steam. This update brings some major changes to the game, and brings back some previous features by popular demand.

What’s new

Two New Difficulty Modes: Legend and Explorer

For players who already beat the game and thought it was too easy, there’s now Legend Mode. It makes enemies hit harder, move faster, and makes Flux Dabes, the main character, a bit more fragile. It’s a bigger challenge for experienced players.

If you’re more into farming, building, or just relaxing, there’s Explorer Mode. It’s a low-stress way to enjoy the game’s world, story, and features without worrying too much about combat.

The Compendium Is Back

Fans of the first Crashlands will be happy to know that The Compendium has returned. It tracks your progress, recipes, pets, and more. It’s a helpful tool for completionists who want to hit 100%.

This update also adds random bonus stats to crafted armor and turns your pets into full combat companions.

Better Early Game Experience

A lot of players said the game was fun but took too long to get going. So now, Crashlands 2 gives you Weapons, Gadgets, and Trinkets earlier. That means you can start experimenting with your gear and playstyle right away.

Other Improvements

  • You can now adjust how dark it gets at night.
  • Base-building is more flexible, including new home teleporters.
  • You can now build on more areas of the world.
