Miyoo Overclock 1.0.2 for OnionOS
Overclock 1.0.2 is out for OnionOS, offers a simple interface for changing CPU speeds on supported Miyoo handhelds. No manual text file editing required.
This update makes the exit controls clearer: B saves and quits, while Select exits without saving. It also carries forward Mini Flip support and manual device selection introduced in 1.0.1.
Put it in overdrive
Nah, seriously, don’t. The app lets you choose a shared clock or separate settings for individual systems and emulator cores. It writes the cpuclock.txt files Onion’s RetroArch already reads, and can adjust launchers such as DraStic that set their own speed.
Only systems with games on the card appear. Colour indicators flag increasingly aggressive settings, while a restore option brings back the clocks recorded on the app’s first launch. Changes apply when you next start a game.
The developer reports testing on Miyoo Mini Plus. Mini models are supported, but Mini Flip support has not yet been tested on hardware. The newer Mini Plus V2 is recognised, but its clocks cannot be applied through this OnionOS app.
But be careful
Higher clocks can cause all sorts of nuisances, like freezes, extra heat and shorter battery life. A crash during saving can also corrupt progress. Use the colour zones as guidance, not as RPM meter in your car. In other words, don’t redline it all the time.
To install, extract Overclock-1.0.2.zip to the SD card root, leaving App/Overclock/, then open Apps → Overclock.
