Loose Nozzles arrives on Android
Born out as a passion project from Chris Foster (The Beatles Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band, The Lord of the Rings Online), and his son Ian, Loose Nozzles arrives on Android and iOS after 8 years of development (part-time).
What is Loose Nozzles?
Loose Nozzles is a physics based game that uses classic arcade look and style. Chris and Ian built a retro-inspired design that combines the physics-and-finesse-based play of Lunar Lander with the rescue objectives of Choplifter.
That took full 8 years to develop, ever since Ian was about 5 years old. From that moment to now, the game evolves to a point when it is finally ready for release.
“I never wanted this to feel like work for Ian, and I already HAD work to feel like work, so we kept things light, and took our time.” – explained Chris.
“I never wanted this to feel like work for Ian, and I already HAD work to feel like work, so we kept things light, and took our time.” – added Chris. When asked to comment on the game, Ian, now 13, responded as expected for a teenager: “It’s a game. And it’s fun.”

Is it free?
To be perfectly honest I didn’t try the game. I wanted to, but there seems to be some kind of region lock in place. There is not a single compatible device that I can install the game on. Weird.
Anyway, you can download Loose Nozzles from the Appstore or Google Play (link below), for free. But if you want to unlock the entire game, you will have to make a one-time purchase.
Regarding the region lock, I have no exact information for now. Nothing was mentioned in the press release.
