Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Enters Open Beta, Bringing 4v4 Street Matches to Android

5th Ocean Studios has launched the Open Beta for Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, now available on Android. Touted as the world’s first 4v4 multiplayer street cricket game, it blends real-time action with the raw energy of Indian gully cricket.

Set in vibrant neighborhood arenas, the game captures the unpredictable nature of street cricket, complete with rooftop ricochets, moving vehicles, and sideline commentary from animated bystanders. Players can form 4-player crews or compete in 1v1 head-to-head modes, with full controller support and cross-platform play coming soon to iOS and Steam.

“We built this game to reflect how cricket is really played in our neighborhoods,” said Yasaswy Sarma Veluri, Co-founder of 5th Ocean Studios. “The beta is just the start—we’re inviting the community to shape what comes next.”

Key Features:

  • 4v4 & 1v1 Multiplayer Modes: Designed for fast-paced, real-time matches.
  • Dynamic Street Arenas: Realistic Indian backdrops filled with interactive obstacles.
  • Voice Chat and Emotes: Communicate, celebrate, and taunt your way to victory.
  • Stylized Crews and Special Skills: Customize your team and use unique power moves.
  • Cheating Mechanics: Embrace the street spirit with sneaky tricks and tactical plays.

Players can download the game and join the open beta from the official link. The beta offers a chance to test features early and join the Gully Gangs community ahead of the full release.
