Digidiced Released Caverna on Android, iOS and Steam
Digidiced, the Berlin-based studio famous for digital adaptations of popular board games like Viticulture Essential Edition and Terra Mystica (many of which are on sale, check this out), has brought Uwe Rosenberg’s Caverna to digital platforms. Founded by Felix Dreyfus, Simon Gratwohl, Alexander Ommer, and Patrick Soeder, the team focuses on cross-platform play for iOS, Android, and Windows, staying close to the board game experience while utilizing digital enhancements.
About the Game
In Caverna, players lead a dwarf tribe, managing resources, expanding their home by furnishing new rooms, and exploring deeper parts of the mountain to find ore, gems, and fountains. Players can mine for materials, forge weapons, and embark on adventures, offering an alternative to traditional worker actions. Outside the cavern, there’s farmland to clear, crops to grow, and livestock to breed. The game supports 1–7 players, includes a solo mode, multiplayer, AI opponents, and features both a classic board game look and a new 3D version. With turn-based play that works live or asynchronously, Caverna offers a flexible experience for players who enjoy careful planning and strategy.
