Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season One is now available on the Play Store
Great news for all The Walking Dead fans! After being available to Kindle Fire HDX users only for nearly 4 months (via the Amazon appstore), “Telltale Games” finally released their game on the Play Store today. Well, better late than never.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead series have been around for some time now. This game was originally released on PC, Mac and consoles in 2012 and was later ported on iOS too. Set in the same universe as the comic books, The Walking Dead is a five part point and click adventure game taking place at the outset of the zombie apocalypse while Rick Grimes is still in coma.
The game follows the story of Lee Everett, a convicted criminal that survived the apocalypse and is now protecting the orphaned girl named Clementine. To ensure his and her safety, Lee will have to make swift decisions that impact the gameplay and the storyline across all seasons. Players can explore the world and interact with other characters, experience events and visit locations that unravel the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes.
The Walking Dead: Season One can be downloaded from the Play Store from today on. All other parts can be acquired from inside the game for $4.99 each, including the “Season Pass” priced at $14.99. All you need to do now is find some fast WiFi hotspot and plug-in your headphones for ultimate experience. Also, make sure you have plenty of space on your storage card (about 1.4GB) and that your device meets the minimum system requirements quoted below.
– “Your actions and choices will affect how your story plays out across the entire series. “
