Pocket Harvest, is that a cow in your pocket?
Japanese game developer Kairosoft, finally decided to translate their latest game Pocket Harvest and release it for the rest of the world to play with. Put away your guns, time to grow some crops and win contests with your veggies.
Kairosoft has been around for a while, mostly known for their ultra addictive pixel-art management games, out of which Game Dev. Story is certainly the most popular one. This time, they decided to test your farming skills in Pocket Harvest, game that will undoubtedly keep you occupied for quite some time. And get this, it’s Android exclusive (for now).
As usual, you start off with next to nothing in your pockets and only a tiny land parcel where you begin cultivating your crops that you can sell for profit, or refine further and enter prize winning contests. Additional goods such as milk, wool and eggs can be acquired from your animal friends, so keep them happy and healthy! Pocket Harvest crosses the boundary of classical farming simulator by introducing tourists and attractions that will help you acquire additional funds and keep your business up and running.
Pocket Harvest features the same mechanics as nearly all other Kairosoft games. No matter how good and addictive they are, certain players will probably get that famous “more of the same” feeling while playing this game as well. Still, Pocket Harvest does provide plenty of value for the price. If you ever played any Kairosoft game, you probably know what to expect – beautiful pixelated graphics, addictive gameplay, light RPG elements and tons of hidden features waiting to be discovered. Kiss your battery life goodbye, or keep your charger close by!
