LHEA wakes up in the In-Between—a soft, surreal world that floats between life and death. She’s not alone, though. There’s an ancient Word Spirit hanging around, ready to teach her how to mess with time (literally) and help lost souls along the way.

If you’ve played Slay the Spire, Monument Valley, or Child of Light, you’ll catch some familiar vibes here—but LHEA takes that mix and spins it into something totally its own.

Jo Drolet, the creator behind Soul Fuel Games, says:
“I wanted to create this charming minimalistic world about life and death with the hope that players lose track of time and feel enspirited by this dance between unexpected discoveries, strategy flow and heartwarming music.”

So, what’s in the game?

Timeline Battle System
This isn’t your usual turn-based deal. You’re playing with time—shifting moves, lining up the perfect strike, and thinking a few steps ahead. It’s smooth and tactical all at once.

The Fate Flute
You’ll collect up to 9 magical rings and slot them into 3 custom loadouts. Each ring has a knowledge spell tied to it, so mixing and matching is key to building your playstyle.

Knowledge is power
Wander through the different realms to uncover hidden lore. These little discoveries unlock stronger spells and handy new features to give you an edge.

New Realms Every Time
Every run is procedurally generated, so you’ll never know quite what’s coming. Adjust your strategy on the fly, roll with the surprises, and try not to get too attached to your plan.
