Bravoman: Binja Bash! released on Android
Honoring the 25th anniversary of the Bravoman franchise, Namco-Bandai released a brand new side-scrolling platform game, featuring new levels, updated graphics and epic boss fights. So get ready to stretch your limbs once again in Bravoman: Binja Bash, and try to stop Dr. Bomb and his legion of robot ninjas from destroying the world.
The very first game from the series was released back in 1988 by Namco (there was no Bandai back then) for the arcade Namco System 1. It was later ported on TurboGrafx-16 and achieved moderate success. Bravoman: Binja Bash! however is not a remake of the original. It features brand new levels and couple of other characters that you can unlock by collecting parts dropped from the enemies you defeat. There are total of 5 additional characters you can unlock, all of them equipped with different attack styles and traits. Furthermore, each character will provide an alternate ending thus boosting the game’s replay value, and for the bravest of them all that complete the game with all characters, Namco-Bandai promises special surprise at the end.
Bravoman Binja Bash fully supports google play game services including both achievements and global leaderboards, providing the special battle-mode where you can compete with your friends for the best clear times, but only after you defeat Dr. Bomb for the first time.
The game is free to download and play, supported by IAPs and time-restrictive gameplay, which is kind of a bummer since it means once you use the 3 lives you initially get, you will have to wait certain amount of time (4 minutes per life) to play again. If you feel like unlocking all the characters is too hard, you can buy them individually or all-together for $44.99 (nope, not a mistake), but you will still have to pay for all the power-ups and additional lives in the store. Have fun.
UPDATE: Removed from Google Play. Download Bravoman Binja Bash APK here.
