Beach Buggy Racing 2 coming in few months
The developers from Vector Unit, the team behind Riptide GP franchise just announced that Beach Buggy Racing 2 is in the making and should be released on mobile devices first in a couple of months. Originally known as Beach Buggy Blitz, the game is now renamed to Beach Buggy Racing and it has over 50,000,000 downloads on the Play Store alone.
Beach Buggy Racing 2
Same as the original title, Beach Buggy Racing 2 will be a console-type kart racing game with couple of twists and upgrades. Vector Unit promises a huge content upgrade, upgradeable power-ups and finally online competitions and tournaments, pretty much the most important thing the franchise needs right now.
Players will be able to collect and upgrade over 50 different power-ups and fine tune their load-outs, cars and characters. Competitions will range from daily missions and special events, to weekly tournaments sponsored by Amazon GameOn, in which players can compete against each other and win prizes.

There is no release date set (yet), but Vector Units said they are targeting early summer for the worldwide release of the free-to-play mobile version of the game. Consoles and Steam users will get a premium version of the game, but there is no info if cross-platform multiplayer will be supported. There are no assets in form of screen-shots or videos released at this time, but you can follow Vector Unit on Facebook to stay in touch.
