Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 Expands to Waifei Peninsula and Xbox on June 6

Zenless Zone Zero is gearing up for its next big update. Version 2.0, titled “Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn,” lands on June 6 on all platforms, including Android and iOS, and brings a new district, powerful agents, deeper combat, and a full launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

About the update

This update introduces the Waifei Peninsula, a previously unexplored part of New Eridu. Players will join Yixuan, High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit, to uncover secrets tied to the mystical Suibian Temple. The new zone, Failume Heights, is filled with tea houses and shops and it’s also home to the Lemnian Hollow, a risky but resource-rich area.

In Version 2.0, Proxies will also manage and upgrade their own Suibian Temple. By sending Bangboos on missions and collecting resources, players can earn in-game rewards and unlock new gameplay elements.

New Agents and Combat Features

Yixuan joins the roster as a new S-Rank Agent with a skill set focused on high damage and unique mechanics like Adrenaline and dual Ultimates. Ju Fufu, another S-Rank, uses Fire and Physical attacks and supports her team with buffs. Other characters joining include Pan Yinhu, a panda-themed A-Rank Agent, and Belion, an S-Rank Bangboo.

The Hollow Zero: Lost Void mode is also receiving updates. Players can now equip multiple Gears, opening up more tactical combat options. A new 3D map and navigation tools will help players traverse larger Hollows more efficiently.

Freebies

To mark the first anniversary, the update includes major rewards: a free S-Rank Agent, a free S-Rank W-Engine, 1,600 Polychromes, and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes. Players can also participate in events like Gravitational Attraction (movie-themed tasks) and Soul of Steel: Golden Bond (mech combat missions) to earn cosmetics and gear.
