The latest Warframe update, Techrot Encore, is out now for free on all platforms. This follow up to Warframe: 1999 introduces new characters, mission types, weapons, cosmetics, and more, expanding the sci-fi universe.
What’s new
Face Off Against the Technocyte Coda
A new addition to the Adversary System brings musically charged battles against the Technocyte Coda, an infested boy band. You can earn 13 new Coda weapons and themed cosmetics by crashing their performances.
Meet Temple, the 60th Warframe
Temple wields a guitar that doubles as a flamethrower, melting enemies with pyrotechnic attacks. Her Ripper’s Wail ability grants temporary invulnerability, and her secondary pistol, Riot-848, lets players recall bullets back into the magazine.
New Protoframes and Social Hub Expansion
Höllvania Central Mall gets a social hub upgrade with The Round Table Bar and four new Protoframes: Flare (Temple), Minerva (Saryn), Velimir (Frost), and Kaya (Nova). Players can interact with them using an updated K.I.M. conversation system.
