Tower of God: New World Adds hololive VTubers in New Collaboration Update
Netmarble has released a new update for Tower of God: New World, featuring a collaboration with popular Japanese VTuber group hololive. Starting today, players can unlock two VTuber characters and take part in several limited-time in-game events available until April 23.
The update introduces two new SSR+ characters:
- [hololive] Mori Calliope – A Yellow element Assassin and Scout, based on the Grim Reaper’s first apprentice who turned VTuber to collect souls.
- [hololive] Tokoyami Towa – A Yellow element Support and Wave Controller, portrayed as a young devil learning about the human world.
These characters come with unique abilities that add new strategies to team setups.
The update includes special events to celebrate the collaboration:
- Collab Story Event – “We May Be Reaper & Demon, but We’ll Be Maids!”: Players follow the story of the two VTubers working at a maid cafe. Completing the story earns items that can be exchanged for resources like Tower’s Blessing Break Stones.
- hololive Collab Special Summon: Increased chances of summoning the two hololive characters.
- hololive Collab Daily Festa: Completing daily missions gives rewards, including summoning tickets and the chance to earn both featured characters.
hololive, managed by COVER Corporation, is a VTuber group known for its content in streaming, music, and live events. Some of its members have charted on Billboard JAPAN, reflecting their global reach.
The new content is now available in the game on iOS and Android.
