Torchlight: Infinite SS9 Outlaw Season Now Live

Torchlight: Infinite has officially kicked off its SS9 season, titled Outlaw, now available for all players. This season takes the action-RPG into a cyberpunk-inspired world where players become high-profile criminals, targeting a corrupt megacorporation.

The season introduces a fresh risk-reward dynamic that leans into faster combat and greater build flexibility. Straight from TorchCon, the game’s recent offline event, developers at XD Games revealed major updates and player stats, including over 3.2 million characters created and 360 billion monsters defeated in 2025 alone.

New Crime-Themed Gameplay and Hero Options

Players can now hijack Tower Co. transports in the new Carjack & Crime System. Heists increase your Crime Rating, opening up Black Market Bounties and the dangerous Central Vault raid. The higher the alert level, the greater the challenges and the rewards.

Rosa, the graceful knight, returns with the new Unsullied Blade trait. This Mana-scaling melee build blends precise single-target strikes with sweeping AoE attacks using the new Realm of Mercury mechanic.

System Overhauls

Focus Skills replace the old Imbue system, offering powerful conditional attacks based on actions like movement or critical hits. Five distinct Focus Skills are available this season.

Tower Sequence Crafting introduces a new way to customize gear with over 190 unique power core Sequences. This system gives non-legendary items fresh potential, rivaling legendary effects.

A reworked Talent System lets players choose up to five core talents without primary or secondary restrictions, making custom builds more open than ever.

New Gear and Challenges

New legendary gear options include Trinity, Quantum Convergence and Solid River, offering new meta-defining strategies for spellcasters and summoners alike.

The endgame now includes bosses like General Redscale, who brings brutal battlefield control with his blood blades. The Sons of Rising Tide also return as capstone enemies.
