Star Wars: Hunters to Shut Down This Year
Star Wars: Hunters had a rough development cycle. After a very extended soft launch phase, there were doubts as to whether the game would ever launch to live. The game ultimately came out in June 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and PC. Although while its action-oriented gameplay based around teams brought a new spin on the action category, its competitiveness in regards to its gameplay wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. New characters and maps were added on later in the game throughout the update cycle, but news on the game as a whole had been quiet. Now, publisher Zynga made an announcement on the game site in a statement that Star Wars: Hunters will shut down on the 1st of October 2025. Although while servers are live at the moment, no offline plans have been made for when the shut down happens.
