Feral Interactive has released the Imperium Update for ROME: Total War on iOS and Android. This free update improves gameplay, enhances controls, and adds new features. If you are using the standalone expansions, Barbarian Invasion and Alexander, you will receive the update next week.
New Control Features for Better Gameplay
The update brings improved controls from Total War: MEDIEVAL II and EMPIRE to ROME: Total War. New options like:
- Positioning Mode – Helps set unit formations easily.
- Melee Mode – Allows better control over close combat.
- Automatic Deselection – Reduces accidental unit selections.
- Command Slowdown – Slows the game when issuing complex commands, making strategy easier to manage.
For the first time, keyboard and mouse support is available on iPad and Android, giving you more control options.
