Homerun Clash 2: Legend Derby Gets a Major Update
Haegin has rolled out a major update for Homerun Clash 2: Legend Derby (hereafter Homerun Clash 2), bringing new game modes, characters, and system improvements.
World Tour Mode Expands Solo Play
Known for its online PvP home run battles, Homerun Clash 2 introduces World Tour Mode, a singleplayer experience with 8 chapters and 240 stages. Each stage features different rules and missions, allowing players to take on a variety of challenges. Clearing missions earns rewards, and as stages progress, opponents become tougher. Stars collected along the way unlock additional rewards, and replaying stages provides further opportunities for advancement.
This update adds two new batters: Gloria and Hammer, each with their own skills. Gloria, a skilled racer, uses the Soft Cycling II skill to boost cycling home run scores. Hammer, a powerhouse hitter, has the Agent skill, which provides damage resistance based on the home run gauge and fully blocks one hit when maxed out.
A new stadium, Baobab Stadium, has also been introduced. Featuring towering baobab trees and cascading waterfalls, it becomes available once players reach 2,400 trophies. Alongside this, 12 new equipment pieces ranging from B Rank to SS Rank have been added.
System Overhaul
Batters and skills now level up using coins earned through gameplay instead of a probability-based system. Equipment Coins, which were previously divided by part, have been combined into a single currency, making upgrades more straightforward. Additionally, S Rank and higher equipment now come with fixed attributes suited to each stadium, improving customization options.
New Season
World Star Season 2 has begun, along with new features such as a Batter Effect and Defense Skill recommendation system. The Achievements system has also been revamped, offering new ways for players to track their progress and earn rewards.
